I did some searching around and found that there was some discussion and requests to add support for the VCD format when adding releases.
I'm looking at this stub:
http://musicbrainz.org/show/cdstub/inde … ZV4H8fMuM-
I put in a comment there based on my research that this appears to be part of a 2 disc set that is labelled as VCD. Are editors adding VCD releases under "Other" or anything?
Also, I'm not overly familiar with the VCD format, but I thought I read somewhere around MB that VCD was generally a single track video cd. The aforementioned stub has many tracks...

I have some VCDs at homes, I can tell you that tomorrows.

OK Plague, I tried a VCD and it submits something correct.
Of course it doesn't use the VCD 2.0 playlist but it submits each physical track (including a few non-music like logos, warning etc. of course) with its duration (actually ± 3s correct).
BUT preceeded by a track #01 which is the file system (here 0:09 minutes [data track]).
So, I wonder why the link you gave has no heading data track. I wonder if it's a compliant VCD 2.0 nor 1.x.

Thanks; for some reason the link you provided comes up with "CD not found" when try it.
I thought the stub appeared to match the release listed here:
http://www.amazon.cn/%E5%BC%A0%E5%AD%A6 … B00118OGSC
That's where I saw "2 VCD" listed. Unless it's a mistake on the Chinese amazon page and they're really 2 audio CD's...

My link is a "add new release" link (with Picard). It's normal it's not there because I never added it.
Your Amazon link is a 2× karoke VCD. It's written on the cover, they're right.
Maybe you stub is a homemade Audio CD or another Audio CD than the Amazon page.
