Topic: Android, Picard and Barcodes

I've just discovered the MusicBrainz Android application and it gives me an idea.  What I'd like to be able to do is scan a barcode in the Android app and, if it finds the release, load this into Picard on the PC ready to associate with some tracks stored on the PC.  Is this possible?  If no how about it for an idea for an enhancement?  The phone and the PC are on the same LAN so there should be no security issues.
