Topic: How to parse track artists on Various Artist releases
Can't seem to find the correct sign to use so the system can recognize the change between title and artists. I thought " / " might work but it didn't. Any thoughts?

It's a dash. Here's the format I use when I go from mp3tag to MusicBrainz. MB parses this just fine:
01 Boogie Stop Shuffle - Charles Mingus 05:00
02 The Pan Piper - Miles Davis & Gil Evans 03:55
03 Pick Up Sticks - The Dave Brubeck Quartet 04:17It was my first thought. I think what I was doing wrong was adding it from the Add Disc button instead of the Track Parser one (but stil I think it should have worked... a bug?)
Just checking, but was the "Parse track artists" button checked in the Add Disc parser? (I don't know if it shares its state with the track parser or not)
Isn't there a way to invert Artist and Track title when adding a VA release as it were before (when importing from freedb)? Most of the times I have the text as "01. Artists - Track (0:00)"
Directly from the track parser link

The main weakness of the parser, especially for various artist releases, is that it takes Title - Artist, but not Artist - Title. Although an option to swap those is planned, for now it might be easier for you to just input the data from the table if your source information is in this format.
So the answer is no, however you could probably use a text editor to drag the information on, highlight and move the artists to before the track titles and that will work.
