Topic: Request for help on classic track names

I messed up big time a few days ago when submitting a new compilation box set of classical pieces.

I have since revised the first disc's track names using the classic style guide and I'm hoping for comments and/or suggestions on accuracy before I proceed to upload them. I would also like to know how to change to artist names to display in English (Latin characters) rather than the native script.
Here is a link to the release http://musicbrainz.org/show/release/?releaseid=594492

Disclaimer: I have almost no knowledge/experience with classical music.

Happens to the best of us!

Usually we put the conductor first, soloist second.

Should that be a capital K?

Again with the reversing. :)

Also, make sure the key is fully specified, even if major. (There are a few that are missing major/minor.)

But very good work. :)

Re: Request for help on classic track names

Also add a comma between the featured artists, e.g. "...feat. conductor: Jean-Pierre Wallez, piano: Ivan Drenikov)"

Re: Request for help on classic track names

I'm not 100% sure how to enter "The Four Seasons".  Here are my guesses:

Violin Concerto No. 1 in E major, Op. 8 "Spring": I. Allegro
Violin Concerto No. 1 in E major, Op. 8 "The Four Seasons: Spring": I. Allegro
The Four Seasons: Violin Concerto No. 1 in E major, Op. 8 "Spring": I. Allegro

Your thoughts?  I think the second example (or a variation thereof) is best.

Re: Request for help on classic track names

Aaron: personally, I like #3 the best. Most people know them primarily/only as The Four Seasons, so IMO that should be first.

Why do you prefer #2?
