Topic: need admin involvement with a couple of edits

For the Led Zeppelin song Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp, the ISWC database does not list Robert Plant nor John Paul Jones (John Baldwin) as having a role in the song.  I agree this differs from the album credits, and what wikipedia says, but shouldn't we follow the trail as given by who gets the money years after the lawyers have finished arguing?

No we should keep the credits as they are artist intently given to us through the official booklets and stuff in releases.

The ISWC, SACEM for instance are ALWAYS wrong when the artist wants to credit everyone same level
:
Written by Joe and Bob can mean that Joe and Bob composed and/OR wrote lyrics but ISWC and SACEM in theses cases (in order to send same amount of money to both people) will record that both Joe and Bob did BOTH compose and write lyrics, which is most of the time completely wrong and not interesting when you have another point of view than sending money.

For role, I believe 'A' for author means lyrics, 'C' for composer means music, and 'AD' for adapter means arranger.  There is 'E' also, but I don't know what that means.. possibly rights holder.

The fact that John Paul Jones and Robert Plant are not listed *at all* is a strong result.

SCORE!

Solution found..  It really was a bad entry in the ISWC database.  From the Swiss one @ http://rse-pub.suisa.ch/ shows all three as composers
