Topic: Script to not overwrite existing cover art

Is there a scripting syntax to tell picard to not overwrite existing cover art for a file?  In cases where I have a music file with no embedded cover art, I want Picard to embed any cover art it can find from Amazon etc. (and it does this very well - no issues here).  However, if I have a file that already has cover art embedded in it (such as cover art I took time to find myself on the web), I don't want Picard to overwrite it with its own - I also don't even want Picard to add another embedded album cover art image to the file.

In summary, is there a way via scripting that I can tell Picard to embed its cover art if none currently is embedded in the music file but to otherwise leave it alone and not embed?

Re: Script to not overwrite existing cover art

I don't believe there is a way to do this for cover art. I think the solution is probably the same as http://tickets.musicbrainz.org/browse/PICARD-257 whereby you could add "coverart" or similar to the list of preserved tags. Preserved tags should only be set if not already set in a file.
