Topic: Correcting Typo in Release Group

Could someone point me in the right direction (I have searched the forum postings, but have found nothing to help) in how best to correct a spelling mistake in a _new_ Release Group.  I put in a new entry for Elgar's Coronation Ode this week (http://musicbrainz.org/release/89b0717d … 1b79504c22) but screwed up the name of the orchestra.  I have submitted a correction for the release group, but as the original addition has not passed its 14 days, nor yet received enough votes, I cannot correct the release group that the release is associated with.   Help and pointers most welcome.

Re: Correcting Typo in Release Group

the fastest way is to nicely, ask an "autoeditor" to fix it for you :).
Otherwise you need to make another edit that fixes the title, which will be applied 14 days later. IF you are concerned about tagging your files correctly right now, you can change the title in Picard also (by hand). This will let you enter your own edit and also correct title in your own file tags.

Thanks.  I made the correction locally.  It is more the MB end that I am concerned with.

Even if it gets no votes, your edit will eventually pass by default. :)
