Topic: Use of ★ glyph in artist/titles
I noticed recently that the group A★Teens is now done with a star glyph.
Would ★NSync also be a candidate for this? Currently in MusicBrainz as *NSync
It is definitely a star on all their album covers...

that edit is here: http://musicbrainz.org/edit/17037841
hard decision...
IMO, since ★ is classified as a "block element" (http://www.utf8-chartable.de/unicode-utf8-table.pl) but not a spacing modifier, I don't think it is correct to use such a character in A-Teens, but maybe can be used in NSync.
edit: sorry "spacing modifier" is a wrong term. I meant separator.
btw the I meant (U+2605 ★ e2 98 85 BLACK STAR) and not (U+22C6 ⋆ e2 8b 86 STAR OPERATOR)

No, actually it's just as likely a bolded * on their own album covers. A star glyph is center aligned and similar size to other characters - all covers except No Strings Attached clearly have an smaller star or asterisk-like character.
Their (crappy) official website uses a * as well.
Such edits should show the scans BTW.
