Topic: Is it possible to do this when moving files?

I'm hoping to be able to do something like foobar's file operations component that has an option for "move entire source folder content."  Essentially it also includes all subdirectories in addition to whatever happens to be in the main directory.

I ask because sometimes I have another folder in the album folder called "Scans" or "Artwork" that has several images/scans of the album booklet.  Ideally, I'd like to have it automatically move that with everything else.  Is it possible to do something like this in Picard? I'm aware of the "move additional files" option but I don't know how to specify subdirectories in there.

Re: Is it possible to do this when moving files?

I asked about this a while ago. Unless something has changed, you can't move subfolders using Picard. You can move all files in the same folder as the audio files, although you have to specify each file type under the 'File Moving' section in Picard preferences.

I've opened an improvement ticket: http://tickets.musicbrainz.org/browse/PICARD-215

Just checked that ticket and tried what nikki posted in there.  Could've sworn I tried something like that, but apparently not... it definitely DOES work.

Thanks for helping clear it up.

Yep, seems to be working for me too. I also though I tried that ages ago...must have done it wrong.
