Topic: Folder within a folder and so on...

Recently I installed this software however i wasnt sure how to use it and i ran the tool several times now I have the issue that my music files as in folders within them self eg

Amy Winehouse --> Back to Black ---> Amy Winehouse --> Back to Black --->Amy Winehouse --> Back to Black --->Amy Winehouse --> Back to Black --->Amy Winehouse --> Back to Black --->Amy Winehouse --> Back to Black --->Amy Winehouse --> Back to Black ---> then the album tracks .mp3

Im sorry if this is a condusing description however i just want to know is there any quick way to fix this as i have 100s of albums which i would rather not manually delete empty folder and move them it would take days!

What do you have set for "move files to this directory" under "File Naming" Options? It sounds like you have "." or an empty value and have it enabled. You need to set this to a real base folder, e.g. C:\Music or whatever.

Suggest you change this; tick "delete empty directories" to allow Picard to clean up afterwards and then re-save the files.
