Topic: n00b help - adding a 2 CD set

Hi,

I'm new to MusicBrainz and have been trying to add a 2-CD set via picard -> CD Lookup -> lookup manually -> MusicBrainz website.

I have been able to add the first disc of this set successfully via this approach but I can't work out how to add the second disc via the same route (to capture the track lengths etc.).  The first disc is here: http://musicbrainz.org/release/3add0a09 … 1b23a7410.  Can someone describe the steps involved in adding the second CD to this release from Picard?

Sadly, there's no good way for that. Which is a pretty terrible design flaw, but...

Option a) is adding it as a separate release and merging them later. Option b) (probably better) is adding the second disc manually and then adding the discID to it (which will eventually add track times automatically, I think it takes up to 24h)
