Topic: Disambiguation note for regular releases.

I mostly create and edit japanese releases, they often have regular (just CD) and limited (CD+DVD or CD+Booklet or whatever) editions.

After i see edit http://musicbrainz.org/edit/18912402 i start thinking it doesn't needed.

I can understand disambiguation for some "unique" releases, but for plain regular edition...

Please tell your opinion.

Re: Disambiguation note for regular releases.

I agree with the edit and I would have done the same thing. The edition is included on the obi, on Amazon (http://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B007EDNJTK/) and on the official site (http://www.pscompany.co.jp/kra/disco/di … ingle.html).

We have no other way of knowing that it's the regular edition. Leaving the disambigation comment blank could just mean that it's a limited edition where nobody has added the information.

Re: Disambiguation note for regular releases.

I agree with the edit too, same reason : full info.
