Performs under this name (but it's his nickname, not a solo project or anyhting like that): http://musicbrainz.org/artist/fcb476f9- … 0e590df076
Couldn't they be merged? It's the same person after all (though not having the stage name might produce duplicates)

You might want to look at the discussion around RFC-149.

The current guidelines, unfortunately, pre-date Artist Credits and alias types (e.g. "legal name").
