Topic: How to submit this release

Hey everyone,

I have an interesting release to submit, and I'm not quite sure how to go about doing it.

I bought it as "Hybrid Classics 4CD Special Edition Box Set", but I'm unsure whether to submit it as a single release, or as 4 separate releases. Here are a few notes:
- It arrived in a large, vinyl-sized box, with 4 separate CD jewel cases inside
- Each case has its own title ("Classics", "Instrumental + Remixes", "Orchestral", "Cinematic Soundscape")
- Each case has its own catalog number
- Each case has its own barcode
- Each case has its own, different artwork

Here's an image:

Any tips on how I should submit this?

Thanks!

Edit: Apparently Junodownload lists these as different releases, so I'm leaning towards doing the same with the CDs: http://www.junodownload.com/artists/Hybrid/releases/

Re: How to submit this release

My opinion is both as a box set (single release) and as 4 separate releases (1 for each disc)

Re: How to submit this release

If they are also sold separately then I agree, it should be added both ways, otherwise I would stick to only box set (though it's a shame not to be able to add all those barcodes).

Re: How to submit this release

From what I understand the release is currently the limited edition (of 500) box set which has 4 CDs there are versions with 6CDs+stuff as 50 releases had these.
See the Discogs page

Also I think the CD1 has been released. But all releases have been delayed until recently.

I would release this only as a box set and when the individual CDs/downloads are released you/anyone could add those.

Re: How to submit this release

Also I would use this Greasemonkey script

http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/36376

to import it from Discogs if it is correct and correct for style. It will make life a lot easier.

Re: How to submit this release

Only as a box set, imo.
Once the CD's are released separately, add them as such. Then if the separate releases are given different booklets/ packaging/ covers/ barcodes etc people will be able to differentiate their versions easier.
