Topic: Release country "Europe" or "United Kingdom"?

Can somebody help with explaining WHEN and for which releases I should select "Europe" in the Country section?

For example, I have this CD that is an "European Edition" of the original Japanese release. The label "JPU Records" is established in United Kingdom, does that mean that the country also should be "United Kingdom" although the CD was released in all European countries at the same date?

Same with German "CLJ Records" and "GAN-SHIN", they release "European Editions" but the labels are German, does that mean that their CD's should have "Germany" as "Country"?

For now, I have selected UK for "JPU Records" and Germany for "CLJ Records" is that correct?

The Europe or World selections are for when the exact same release is issued in an entire region. What you are describing (with there being differences between British and German releases) would not qualify for this distinction, unless one of the releases you mentioned is used everywhere in Europe EXCEPT in one of those two countries.

Okey, I might have confused it, but I just gave examples on several labels that release "European Editions" all over Europe on the same release day incl. UK and Germany. They are not releasing the same CDs!

The country the label has been established in, is not important in this case?

The CD from JPU Records are being released 2012-10-01 in ALL European countries, should that have "Europe" as release country then?

Sounds right to me.
