Topic: Removing a URL AR

The group's official home page went off line and disappeared sometime during the summer (I think it was around August that I first noticed it). Now as the site doesn't exist any more, should the AR be removed or should a description be added saying that the site's now defunct... because there's always a chance the group will start using the site address again when they release another album.

Re: Removing a URL AR

A third option might be to add "2007" in the "end date" field of the relationship.

Re: Removing a URL AR

I don't see an "End Date" field when editing the URL. Only a Description box and box to enter an edit note.

Re: Removing a URL AR

I think the server considers the URL object itself to be distinct from its relationship to the artist. (So the same URL could theoretically be related to multiple artists.) If you want to edit the date fields, start at http://musicbrainz.org/show/url/?urlid=135642, then click on "Edit relationships" and then click "Edit".
