'Chaptered' tracks (multiple subtitles or titles)

Is there any special guideline for track, which are chaptered?
I mean, there is one track, with one title and several subtitles, usually numbered each.
It can be a bit confusing, for example, if it is:

Title: Subtitle1 / Subtitle2
or
Title1: Subtitle / Title 2

I've just searched Wiki, and found nothing. =((
